About Us

Evangelism Explosion Namibia (EE Namibia) is a dynamic ministry dedicated to equipping believers across Namibia to confidently share their faith in Jesus Christ. Established in 2010 and officially registered in 2013, EE Namibia has been actively serving communities for over a decade. Our mission is to train and disciple individuals, empowering them to effectively communicate the life-transforming message of the Gospel.

Operating throughout Namibia’s 14 regions, EE Namibia offers a range of impactful training programs tailored to various age groups and contexts. These include:

  • Hope for Kids: A program designed to clarify the Gospel for children, bringing them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and equipping them to share their faith with others.
  • Classic EE: A comprehensive training that equips local church leaders to make Christ’s last command their first mandate.
  • Youth EE: Aimed at bringing teens and youth to Christ and equipping them to go for Christ.
  • Flipchart EE: Utilizes images to enable both educated and illiterate individuals to witness and train others effectively.
  • Glasses For Mission: A program that provides reliable eyeglasses to people in need, enabling them to read God’s word and improve their quality of life.
  • Weavers: Provides a reliable pair of eyeglasses to people, enabling them to read His word.

In the aftermath of the challenges posed by COVID-19 in 2022, the Hope for Kids program experienced a notable surge in demand. This program continues to be highly sought after by churches, primary schools, and early childhood development centers. We are honored to provide free, colorful materials that are both engaging and easy to comprehend, catering to children of all ages.

Guided by our dedicated Director, a National Board, and committed Regional Coordinators, EE Namibia remains steadfast in its commitment to support and disciple churches. We aim to extend the reach of our ministry to untapped regions, impacting lives throughout the nation.

Our journey began with the first Evangelism Explosion training in Windhoek in 2009. In January 2010, Pastor Barend de Klerk volunteered as the field representative for Namibia, laying the foundation for EE Namibia as an independent branch of EE International. Initially focusing on training pastors to evangelize adults, our ministry has since expanded to train leaders in evangelizing children, youth, and adults. The first EE Namibia Board was appointed in February 2012, and by 2013, we were recognized as a multiplying nation at the EE Congress of Nations.
